ddSolid electrolyte Li1.3Al0.3Ti1.7(PO4)(3) was synthesized by both sol-gel technique and solid-state reaction. Phase identification and surface morphology of the products were carried out by X-ray diffraction and scanning electron microscopy. Ionic conductivity of the pellets was investigated through AC impedance and the electrochemical window was determined by cyclic voltammetry. The results show that lithium-ion conductivity of the sintered pellet prepared by sol-gel technique is higher than that of the pellet synthesized through solid-state reaction and the electrochemical window for the sol-gel derived Li1.3Al0.3Ti1.7(PO4)(3) is beyond 2.4 V (C) 2003 Elsevier B.V.
