Coordination of [{Ti(η5-C5Me5)(μ-NH)}3(μ3-N)] to metal cyclopentadienides:: Cyclopentadienyl azaheterometallocubanes

Treatment of [{Ti(eta(')-C5Me5)(mu-NH)}(3)(mu(3)-N)] with lithium and sodium cyclopentadienide complexes [M(C5H5)] in toluene gives cube-type adducts [(eta(5)-C5H5)M{(mu(3)-NH)(3)Ti-3(eta(5)-C5Me5)(3)-(mu(3)-N)}]. The reaction with thallium(l) cyclopentadienide in toluene affords the analogous [(eta(5)C(5)H(5))Tl{(mu(3)-NH)(3)Ti-3 (eta(5)-C5Me5)(3)(mu(3)-N}].C7H8, whereas in hexane it gives [(eta(5)-C5H5)Tl-(mu-C5H5)Tl{(mu(3)-NH)(3)Ti-3(eta(5)-C5Me5)(3)(mu(3)-N)}].
