Turing pattern formation under local feedback is investigated. Simulation results show that local feedback can significantly orient Turing patterns, change the local or global dynamic behavior of the system and even inhibit or induce pattern formation in some conditions. Since a lot of modulating effects in biological systems are realized through local feedback, this work is of practical significance to the investigations of pattern formation in complex biological systems.
