Recent advances in the synthesis of carbonyl compounds by palladium-catalyzed oxidative carbonylation reactions of unsaturated substrates

The review will focus on the recent progress achieved in the palladium-catalyzed oxidative carbonylation reactions of unsaturated substrates that has allowed the development of new, efficient and selective syntheses of a variety of carbonyl compounds. Coverage: until the end of 2002.
