A system such as the one presented in Feasibility of a new domestic CHP trigeneration with Heat Pump: I Design and Development is tested and compared with traditional systems. The annual simulation carried out on the prototype plant and its comparison with traditional energy consumption is presented. System operation in its preferred mode is also presented in this paper as it shows some important aspects of its application and feasibility. (C) 2004 Elsevier Ltd. All rights reserved.
