Based on the consideration of delxu(TA)not equal0, a rotation potential model is proposed to study electron-transverse acoustic phonon interaction in the martensitic alloys. The electron or phonon self-energy correction and the scattering of electron due to the rotation potential are derived. The driving force of premartensitic transformation has been estimated to be about several meV. The phase transition can be driven by electron-TA phonon interaction and the coupling mechanism may be taken as its main nucleation mechanism. Tweed structure is suggested to originate from the ionic density fluctuation which is perpendicular to the wave vector of TA phonon. The anomalous change in electrical resistivity during phase transition results from the strong scattering of electron by the (110)TA(1) phonon at the critical temperature.
