In this paper, the differential transformation method is applied to solve the higher-order initial value problems (HOIVPs). The differential transformation method of fixed grid size is used to approximate solutions HOIVPs. The higher order of Taylor's series be applied. Thus, there exist a trade-off between the selection of the order of Taylor's series and the grid size. The proposed method provides the Taylor's series between any adjacent grid points. Numerical examples are used to illustrate the preciseness and effectiveness of the proposed the method. (C) 2003 Elsevier Inc. All rights reserved.
