In this paper, the electrochemical behavior of L-dopa at a single-wall carbon nanotube modified glassy carbon electrode was investigated by cyclic voltarnmetry, chronoamperometry, and chronocoulometry. The modified electrode exhibited good promotion of the electrochemical reaction Of L-dopa and greatly increased the standard heterogeneous rate constant. The peak currents of differential pulse voltarnmetry (DPV) Of L-dopa were linearly dependent on its concentration in a range from 5.0 x 10(-7) to 2.0 x 10(-5) mol L-(1), with a detection limit of 3.0 x 10(-7) mol L-1.
