Hexyn-1-yl silver shows broad signals in H-1, C-13 and Ag-109 NMR. In the presence of 1 equiv. of triphenylphosphane, the signals are much sharper and at low temperature Ag-109,P-31 and Ag-107,P-31 coupling can be observed. On Ag-109 decoupling, the P-31 spectrum still shows the Ag-107,P-31 coupling indicating the formation of a coordination complex. Copyright (C) 2004 John Wiley Sons, Ltd.
