2-Polyfluoroalkyl-5-methoxycarbonylmethylene-thiazolin-4-ones react as dienophiles on the exo-cyclic ylidene bond to give spiroderivatives and as 1,3-dienes with olefins to give dihydropyranothiazole derivatives.
