Approaches to radiation processing of crude oil and oil products with sulfur concentration higher than 3 mass% are studied. It is shown that combination of preliminary oil processing by ionized ozone-containing air at the room temperature and subsequent high-temperature radiation processing provides effective desulfurization of light fractions and considerably reduces total amount of sulfur predominantly concentrated in high-molecular compounds.
