Fluxmetric and magnetometric demagnetizing factors N-f and N-m have been calculated using a finite-element method for rectangular prism 2ax2bx2c with susceptibility chi=-1, in the completely shielded state. Assuming the field is applied along the c dimension, the results are plotted and tabulated as functions of their aspect ratios c/a and b/max[c,a]. (C) 2004 American Institute of Physics.
