Experimental data for adsorption kinetics of propane and propylene in zeolite 4A (CECA) at 373, 423 and 473 K were measured by three different techniques: zero length column (ZLC), dynamic breakthrough measurements and static-batch adsorption (uptake measurements). The ZLC method is straightforward for measuring intra-crystalline diffusion, and breakthrough experiments with diluted feed were used to validate the kinetic and equilibrium parameters. The uptake measurements were performed in the nonlinear range of adsorption equilibrium where non-isothermal effects need to be considered to describe the experiments. Propane diffusivities were 2.7 x 10(-14) and 5.5 x 10(-14) cm(2) s(-1) at 423 and 473 K, respectively. Propylene diffusivities were 5.9 x 10(-12) and 9.8 x 10(-12) cm(2) s(-1) at 423 and 473 K, respectively.
