The nanosized TiO2 particles anchored on the channel surface of nanoporous nickel phosphate VSB-1 with a low coverage of 1.23 wt.% have been first reported. XRD, EDX, FTIR, UV-Vis, and N-2 adsorption analyses showed that nanosized TiO2 particles were in the channels or pores of VSB-1. The photocatalytic activity studies showed that the TiO2-anchored VSB-1 (TiO2-VSB-1) material had higher activity (64.51%) for phenol degradation than that of 46.94% for the corresponding pure bulk TiO2 in 4 h.
