The gut contents analysis of obscure puffer (Takifugu obscurus) and ocellated puffer (T. ocellatus) during the spawning migration period revealed that animal material was the main food item and vascular plant material was the secondary. The high rates of non-empty guts during spawning period suggest that spawning migration did not affect the feeding of these two fishes.
