An efficient and recyclable protocol for the Suzuki reaction in water has been developed based on the cloud point of thermoregulated ligand Ph2P(CH2CH2O)(n)CH3 (n = 22). This method allows the preparation of a variety of biaryls in high yields and the catalytic system can be recycled four times with high efficiency. Copyright (C) 2010 John Wiley & Sons, Ltd.
