This paper obtains the solitary wave solution of the generalized Zakharov-Kuznetsov modified equal width equation. The solitary wave ansatz method is used to carry out the integration of this equation. A couple of conserved quantities are calculated. The domain restriction is identified for the power law nonlinearity parameter. (C) 2009 Elsevier Ltd. All rights reserved.
