In this paper, palladium-DABCO complex supported on gamma-Fe2O3 magnetic nanoparticles (Pd-DABCO-gamma-Fe2O3) was synthesized and characterized by HRTEM, SEM, XRD, XPS, ICP, FT-IR, TGA, VSM and elemental analysis. The synthesized catalyst was successfully applied as a new magnetically recyclable heterogeneous catalyst in Mizoroki-Heck cross-coupling reaction of aryl halides with alkyl acrylates and styrene under solvent-free conditions.
