The title complex, {[Cu(C10H8N2)(H2O)(4)](C7H4O5S)}(n), shows the cation to form a linear chain in which each Cu centre exists in a distorted octahedral geometry. Interactions between the cations and anions are mediated by hydrogen bonding, which gives rise to a three-dimensional architecture.
