New experimental results were obtained for the reduction of NO by a natural gas blend in a jet-stirred reactor at 10 atm and at 1000-1350 K. Probe sampling, on-line FTIR analyses, and off-line GC analyses yielded concentration profiles for the reactants, stable intermediates, and final products. Reasonable overall agreement between the complete set of data and this model was obtained. The reduction of NO by a natural gas blend is not strongly influenced by pressure. According to the kinetic modeling, it proceeds through the same reaction path at I and 10 atm although the relative importance of the reactions involved in this process differs.
