Achieving high density of adsorbed hydrogen in microporous metal organic frameworks

Ask authors/readers for more resources

Two microporous; metal organic framework structures are shown to possess hydrogen uptake capacities reaching 1.74 and 1.98 wt.-% at 77 K (1, 2, see Figure). These give the highest adsorbed H-2 density reported thus far for metal-organic-based porous materials. The estimated pore volumes are 0.33 and 0.38 cm(3) g(-1) for 1 and 2.
