In the cation of the title complex, [Zn(C13H10BrN2O)( H2O)](NO3)center dot H2O, the Zn atom is coordinated by two N and two O atoms, giving a slightly distorted square-planar geometry. The crystal structure is stabilized by intermolecular O-H center dot center dot center dot O hydrogen-bond interactions.
