Zeolites of different structures and textural mesoporosity (ZSM-5, mordenite, Beta and MCM-41) were investigated as catalysts in liquid phase isomerization of alpha-pinene at 373 K and in methanol conversion. The morphological characterization of the samples was fulfilled before and after the reaction by XRD, SEM, BET and temperature programmed desorption of ammonia. (c) 2005 Elsevier B.V.
