In the present paper, a strongly non-equilibrium reacting CO2 flow is studied on the basis of the kinetic theory methods. An accurate description of kinetics, gas dynamics and transport properties taking into account complex internal structure of carbon dioxide molecules as well as different rates of vibrational energy exchanges and dissociation is proposed. The expressions for all transport coefficients are derived in the final form. The model, while taking into account multiple CO2 vibrational modes and main features of intra- and intermode energy transitions, is sufficiently simple and suitable for practical realization.
