QCT calculations for the process N2(v)+N → N2(v′)+N in the whole vibrational range

A complete set of V-T rates for the process N-2(v) + N -> N-2(v') + N has been obtained by QCT method in the temperature range 500-4000 K. Particular attention has been devoted to the calculation of V-T rates for v < 10 and for v > 60. The rates have been used to assess the reliability of analytical formulas used in the literature for different non-equilibrium problems. (c) 2005 Elsevier B.V. All rights reserved.
