Oil analysis in seeds of Salicornia brachiata was carried out in the current study. Hexane extraction yielded maximum oi content from seeds (22.4%). High ester (538.32 mg/g) and saponification (547.52 mg/g) suggest a potential for industrial use of the oil. (c) 2005 Elsevier B.V. All rights reserved.
