We firstly obtain spatiotemporal localized mode solutions of a (3+1)-dimensional nonlinear Schrodinger equation in PT-symmetric potentials, and then discuss the linear stability of LMs, which are also tested by means of direct simulations. Moreover, phase switches and transverse power-flow density associated with these localized modes have also been examined. At last, we investigate the dynamical behaviors of spatiotemporal LMs in three kinds of inhomogeneous media. (C) 2014 Elsevier Inc. All rights reserved.
