The spectral density of low-frequency power noise and pointing noises of an external cavity AlGaAs/GaAs laser in Littman-Metcalf configuration is studied in the frequency region up to 1 kHz. The relative level of the power and pointing noises in the laser operating on a single longitudinal mode of the external resonator was similar to 10(-6) Hz-(1/2) and did not change substantially when the feedback was switched off. Long-term intensity fluctuations caused by intermode switchings did not exceed 2%.
