Robust room-temperature ferromagnetism is shown in Zn0.85Co0.05Li0.10O nanocrystals. The studies show that the RT ferromagnetism observed in the Zn0.85Co0.05Li0.10 samples is intrinsic in nature. The figure illustrates (schematically) the effect of surfactant treatment in activating the ferromagnetism.
