The title compound, {(C5H7N2)(4)[Mo8O26]}(n), contains extended [Mo8O26](n)(4n-) chains, built up from distorted MoO6 octahedra sharing vertices and edges. A network of N - H center dot center dot center dot O hydrogen bonds helps to stabilize the crystal packing.
