This study tests and analyses four point bending models in order to realize fatigue life and fatigue deformation behavior of carbon fiber reinforced concrete (CFRC). In addition, the paper evaluates the relationship between electrical property and fatigue life under cyclic flexural loading. The analytical results show that the process of fatigue deformation, for CFRC with different strength grades, performs three different stages with the growth of fatigue life. Residual resistance occurs as load cycling progresses, the greater the stress ratio, the faster the strain develops, the greater the fatigue damage and the greater the residual resistance fluctuate increases. Thus, the fatigue life of CFRC can be predicted by means of residual resistance measurement. (c) 2006 Elsevier B.V. All rights reserved.
