The title complex, [Ni(C7H4O6S)(C12H8N2)(H2O)(2)](n), forms a one-dimensional chain in which the nickel ion is six-coordinate in a distorted octahedral geometry. O-H center dot center dot center dot O hydrogen-bonding interactions between chains generate a two-dimensional architecture.
