The current design procedure for sizing a single-unit curb opening inlet has been expanded to multiple-unit inlet designs. The decay function derived in this study can consistently convert a single-unit clogging factor to its multiple-unit clogging factor. The design procedure is then revised to apply the clogging factor to the length of on-grade inlets or to the opening area of sump inlets. The revised equation provides a consistent basis for comparison among various inlet sizes on continuous grade or in sump.
