The synthesis of uniformly distributed nanoscale pores within a Cu(47)Ti(33)Z(11)Ni(8)Si(1) metallic glass is described. The porous metallic glass was obtained by extruding layered Cu-based metallic glass + Cu composite powders followed dissolution of the Cu in a HNO3 solution.
