Here we present our investigation of the kinematic structure of the broad emission line region (BLR) in a sample of 14 single-peaked Active Galactic Nuclei (AGN), which have been previously observed in the X-ray (Fe K alpha line) and where, according to the X-ray emission, a disk geometry is expected. To explain the BLR complex structure we apply a two component model assuming that line wings originate in a very broad line region (VLRB) and the line core in an intermediate line region (ILR). The VLRB is assumed to be an accretion disk. The model can well describe the complex line shapes of the considered sample of AGN. (c) 2006 Elsevier B.V. All rights reserved.
