A dense perovskite fiber made of BaCoxFeyZrzO3-delta (BCFZ) was steadily operated under steam as sweep gas and the oxygen permeation flux was found to be 4.1 ml/(min cm(2)) at 875 degrees C, which indicates that high-purity oxygen can be produced using dense perovskite fibers swept with steam.
