We have studied bound states of the Schrodinger equation for a one-dimensional PT-symmetric Hamiltonian. The potential of this Hamiltonian contains 2N Dirac delta functions with complex strengths. We present a method to obtain an equation for the bound state eigenvalues and find the number of bound states for this PT-symmetric Hamiltonian. (c) 2006 Elsevier B.V. All rights reserved.
