Nutrient digestibility, performance and carcass traits of growing-finishing pigs fed diets containing dried wheat distiller's grains with solubles

Seventy-two pigs were fed graded levels of wheat distiller's grains with solubles (DDGS). During the growing period, gain, intake and nutrient digestibility declined (P < 0.01) as wheat DDGS increased. During the finishing period, performance was unaffected by wheat DDGS. At slaughter, dressing percentage and loin lean declined (P < 0.01).
