The paper deals with the calculation of the emission of monopole and dipole modes of acoustic waves in a gas generated by nonlinear drop oscillations. Assuming that the density of the gas is much smaller than that of the liquid, we show that the amplitudes of these two modes strongly depend on the wave number. It is demonstrated that no monopole radiation exists in the long-wave limit. A comparison with a series of recent studies is provided.
