This letter presents a statistic-fuzzy technique for clustering load curves. Historical statistical records of load curves are used to create membership functions of the compatible fuzzy relation matrix and the self-multiplication rule of the fuzzy matrix is used to obtain the transferable nearness coefficients which can be utilized to systematically perform clustering of load curves. An 2) example is given to demonstrate the application.
