In this study, a circulation system was used to measure T, values of bovine blood under physiological conditions at field strengths of 4.7, 7 and 9.4 T. Results show that T, increases linearly with magnetic field B-0 and can be described with the equation T-1 = 129 ms/T B-0 + 1167 ms for magnetic field strengths between 1.5 and 9.4 T.
