The title organometallic compound crystallizes in two different polymorphic modifications. The conformational differences between the two crystalline modifications lead to differences in crystal packing and thus result in the formation of the two polymorphic forms. Both structures are stabilized by weak non-covalent interactions. The change in the phenyl ring rotation from one structure to the other results in the formation of two distinct network structures in the dimorphs. (c) 2007 Elsevier B.V. All rights reserved.
