Using the Technology Acceptance Model as a conceptual framework and a method of structural equation modeling, this study analyzes the consumer attitude toward Wi-Bro drawing data from 515 consumers. Individuals' responses to questions about whether they use/accept Wi-Bro were collected and combined with various factors modified from the Technology Acceptance Model. The result of this study show that users' perceptions are significantly associated with their motivation to use Wi-Bro. Specifically, perceived quality and perceived availability are found to have significant effect on users' extrinsic and intrinsic motivation. These new factors are found to be Wi-Bro-specific factors, playing as enhancing factors to attitudes and intention. (C) 2007 Elsevier B.V. All rights reserved.
