The decays eta,eta' --> pi(+)pi(-)l(+)l(-) (with l = e,mu) are investigated within a chiral unitary approach which combines the chiral effective Lagrangian with a coupled-channels Bethe-Salpeter equation. Predictions for the decay widths and spectra are given.
