loop-mediated isothermal amplification (LAMP) procedure for the detection of Cryptosporidium in environmental and fecal samples was developed and evaluated. Due to its specificity and simplicity, the method could become a useful diagnostic tool for epidermiologic studies of Cryptosporidium presence.
