Ga2O3-ZrO2 catalysts were prepared by a coprecipitation method. The catalysts were characterized by XRD, Raman, DRS, XPS, SEM, EDX, IR, NH3-TPD, CO2-TPD and N-2 adsorption methods. Dehydrogenation of ethylbenzene and propane in the presence of CO2 over these catalysts has been investigated and compared. Ga2O3-ZrO2 catalysts exhibit different catalytic behavior for the two dehydrogenation reactions. (c) 2006 Elsevier B.V. All rights reserved.
