Foam is used to remove liquid loading up in gas well and increase gas production. The experimental methods were developed to stimulate the foam deliquification process. Effects of temperature, hydrocarbon, brine and particle on foam were studied. Foam height was reduced with increasing temperature, presence of hydrocarbon, brine, particles and demulsifier. A foam model was also developed to predict the foam unloading application for gas well with consideration of reduction of surface tension and fluid density by the foam. (c) 2006 Elsevier B.V.
