Numerical study of A+A→0 and A+B→0 reactions with inertia

Using numerical methods the authors study the annihilation reactions A+A -> 0 and A+B -> 0 in one and two dimensions in the presence of inertial contributions to the motion of the particles. The particles move freely following Langevin dynamics at a fixed temperature. The authors focus on the role of friction. (c) 2007 American Institute of Physics.
