The Letter addresses control problem for adaptive synchronization of the Genesio-Tesi chaotic systems with three uncertain parameters. A new control scheme is proposed to make the states of two Genesio-Tesi systems asymptotically synchronized. Based on the Lyapunov method and linear matrix inequality (LMI) framework, an existence criterion for the control law is derived in terms of LMIs. A numerical simulation is illustrated to show the effectiveness of the proposed chaos synchronization scheme. (c) 2007 Elsevier B.V. All rights reserved.
