Mathematics Students' Coping Behaviour, Happiness, and Self-efficacy in the New Normal: Correlation and K-means Cluster Analysis

Leomarich F. Casinillo

Summary: Students in distance education are expected to have low levels of happiness in learning due to the COVID-19 pandemic. However, this study found that students still demonstrated moderate levels of coping behaviour, happiness, and self-efficacy in learning mathematics. The results highlighted the importance of combining coping behaviour, happiness, and efficacy to achieve positive learning outcomes during the health crisis. Mathematics teachers should encourage student engagement in the classroom to enhance their overall well-being.
